Career highlights

fumbler (formerly known as footy_fumbler and aRT8t) is a player in the Sweet FA, the greatest Kazahk to play Qooty.

Career[edit | edit source]

Season 12[edit | edit source]

fumbler started playing for the Dragons FFC in Season 12 as footy_fumbler.

He enjoyed his debut season, playing his best game against the Furies in Round 9, gathering 20 possessions, 8 marks and 6 tackles.

Controversy struck the Dragons at the end of the season, when a a group of trouble makers signed for Season 13 and split the club with a tragic ending.

Season 13[edit | edit source]

fumbler made a move to the Fighting Furies after then-captain Equus decided to share his favourite nude pic of Richo. An up and down season and a real life drama led to the relationship being an unworkable one.

He produced a good game in Round 2 against the Demons, with 22 possessions and 5 marks. fumbler backed that up the following round against the Wonders with 25 disposals, including his only hit-out for the season.

FUR was a great time in fumbler's career learning a lot of Qooty tactics from the captain. Will we see fumbler return to the Furies at any stage?

Hiatus and Season 15[edit | edit source]

fumbler sat the whole of Season 14 and part of Season 15 out, until the idea of expansion struck. He decided to start up the Sunstate Norveners, a team dedicated to housing those from the northern areas of Australia. The bid started out as a serious one but was eventually used as distraction for the Expansion 10 side, Gold City Royals.

While waiting for Season 16, he played out the season with the Baghdad Bandits and enjoyed his time learning some useful and handy experience from then Captain beez, also played alongside Bipolar....who?.

Season 16[edit | edit source]

18 games for the Gold City Royals and a challenge for the vacant position of captain, which he tragically lost to non Royal Wise Guy Sam saw fumbler eventually leave after being knifed in the back by his own team mates.

Fumbler announced his departure from the Royals during the State of Origin series, many of the Royals bid a gracious farewell all but The Reaper who was heard to whisper to Igloo and Marlowe, he'll be back........ even it's to visit the funhouse invited or not.

Season 17[edit | edit source]

Back home to the club that fumbler holds so dear, premiers this year.

Well it didn't turn out to be such a premiership year as fumbler had hoped for, but it was a good year for the feisty utility. Awarded the Captaincy along with fellow Furies player Tigland after Filthy Sanchez stood down suddenly just before the 9th round left fumbler with a 5 wins and 5 loss record for the season.

Season 18[edit | edit source]

What another great season by the one known as fumbler, co-captain for a second season and a second consecutive finals series.

Season 19[edit | edit source]

Stood down from the captaincy to allow others to lead the club. First time as a full forward seen the mighty fumbler kickover fifty goals for the season.

Season 20[edit | edit source]

footy_fumbler was made vice captain for this season, which seen themighty Furies be the first to 5 premierships and the greatest SFA club. 20 games for the season, 350 disposals in a mixture of positions around the ground, and 10 goals in a fairly modest season.

Season 21[edit | edit source]

The season footy_fumbler took over the captaincy which seen him play some brilliant footy and also seen him suspended for one game by the league for trying to scalp tickets. Played most of the season out of the backline and contributed in many facets and got the Furies to the finals but they bowed out in the first week.

Season 22[edit | edit source]

This season saw footy_fumbler pass the 150 game mark, though the club lost the game there was fanfare all week celebrating this milestone of the much adored Furie. footy_fumbler had some opportunities in front of goal this season but just did not take them and managed to kick 17 behinds in what was a pretty disappointing season for him.

Season 23[edit | edit source]

footy_fumbler played seven games for the Furies and needed a change, was he to retire like the supporters and Furies management wanted or move to another side? He chose to take the Geelong Wolves offer and went there for the remainder of the season.

Season 24[edit | edit source]

Back at Furieland.

Season 25=[edit | edit source]

The pre-season started with a bang and fumbler took over as Co-Captain from Sterge with Wacky Tiger but before the first bounce he decided that he could no longer lead the Furies as they wanted to return to their old ways and wanted no part of that. fumbler decided to stay on in a player only capacity and was placed in the back line for most of the season, though he played a great game all season he wasn't rewarded with and All SFA spot. Half way through the season fumbler had decided he would be moving on to another club for the next season and many SFA clubs approached him for his signature.

Season 26[edit | edit source]

The Royals would be where fumbler would go.
