Mooch (formerly known as wmoore) is a current player with the Roys FFC in the Sweet FA.

Before becoming an elite SFA player with the West Coast Wonders, wmoore was involved in football of a different kind in his homeland. He gained fame and fortune* and his no. 30 squad number by once drinking 30 pints of Guinness on a football weekend trip to London.

Becoming a Premiership player in Season 13, after playing just 4 games, he continued to impress in a variety of roles for the Wonders, including across half-back, half-forward, ruck and rover. He become a two-time Premiership player in Season 15, after the Wonders edged the Fighting Furies by 6 points in a thrilling grand final. At the end of Season 15 , wmoore gained representative honours when he turned out for The Allies in a narrow defeat to NSW / ACT, starting at half-forward and snagging a goal early.

In the middle of season 16, in a survey of all players in the SFA, wmoore was voted as the league's most under-rated player, an award he cherishes. When interviewed after the high-profile ceremony at the Crowne Plaza, he was quoted as saying, "I cherish this award".

Towards the end of Season 16, he was starting to get twitchy feet, and when several high profile players from The Roys FFC announced they wouldn't be there next season, he set the wheels in motion to organise a move to his favourite club. After discussions with Broken and Mobbenfuhrer, the deal was sealed. So when the West Coast Wonders season ended after a heavy defeat at the hands of East Side Hawks, the transfer was completed.

Post-season 16, he was again drafted into the Allies squad for State of Origin, who after losing their first two games went on to win the next 3 and pull off an unlikely series win.

After a fabulous start to his Roys career in which the team started Season 17 with an unprecedented 3-0 record, he changed his name by deed poll to his schoolboy handle of Mooch.
