akkaps was a season 15 rookie, brought into the East Side Hawks two weeks before the season kicked off. He tried to leave the Hawks during the mid-season Trade week, but there were no takers.

He was a founding member of the Gold City Royals, where he begun the The Royal Scroll.

He changed clubs again in Season 17, where he moved the Dragons FFC. Here, he played in the Season 17 Grand Final, losing to the West Coast Wonders. akkaps retired at the end of Season 18, complaining of mental issues.

akkaps returned to the SFA in Season 20 with the Geelong Wolves.
